BREAKING THROUGH TIME FOR THE MASTER CRAFTSMEN
It began in 1969, when Jack Hampton embraced the craft of stained glass while in Europe, a stained glass haven. After a two year apprenticeship with Sholmyer Stained Glass Co., the title of master glazier was bestowed upon him. Returning to the United States, this hobby turned into a job as discovery of his skills were becoming ever increasingly popular among family and friends. As word spread many others overwhelmed this artisan with request to acquire his unique and exquisite colorful creations. This encouraged the establishing of Hampton's Stained Glass Company, founded in1984 in Chicago, IL.
Escalating with the company from the ground floor and striving to follow his fathers' foot steps, Jack W. accomplished mastering the craft while a success oriented prodigy. Studying International Business / Business Management at Southern University and A&M College and Chicago-State University Jack W. was ready to move forward with with new endeavors. Inheriting the business, he applied old and new glazing methods, emerging a new image of stained glass. Prebusiness minded, he approached this fading industry with a different outlook.

New Image Stained Glass Company was founded as a licensed, bonded and insured contract manufacturer of stained glass in the year 2000. They provide training, products and services to homes, shops/businesses, schools, charitable community organizations and religious establishments. Through web sales N.I. is also an online marketplace. This small business is doing well as one of few performing repairs and restoration across the country.
New Image offers many designs to choose from. Sizable and on-going investments in tooling allows them to offer flexibility of customizing and hand detailing, precision on cutting and grinding, and cost efficiency to all customers. Every signature glass art object is an original work of art, and like all great art, our designs don't come easily. Each leaded glass insert panel will be made to your frames exact dimensions and design specifications. Using all efforts to achieve the artful balance between wood and glass. The result is a glass panel that blends architecture and interior in harmony.
